Educating the Beekeeping Community

The Tampa Bay Beekeepers Association has offered a donation and challenge grant to help digitize more volumes of the EF Phillips Rare Book Collection - now available on-line at the
" The Hive and The Honey Bee" at Cornell University's Mann Library

The Challenge: To match their $1000!
If we match the challenge amount of $1000, we will have enough money to more than double the existing on-line volumes! This is the largest digital collection of beekeeping books published on-line for anyone with an internet connection to read.

NYS Farm Bureau has been extremely helpful in securing legislative support for bee research. If you are not a member, give them a call, check them out, and see what you have to do to join. Membership brings many benefits, including access to group health insurance.
